Imagine life without Breast Cancer.....

This is the newest slogan from the Komen Foundation. My world would certainly be different if cancer hadn't entered our lives. 

This year marks the Third Anniversary of our team. In 3 years we have raised almost $8000 and tripled the size of our team. 

We hope to do the same again. We hope that you can join us on November 1st for the Austin Race for the Cure. If you can't join us then, maybe you can make it to our Second Annual Benefit--more details to come. Last year's benefit was such a success we can't wait for this years!  BENEFIT DATE SET: OCTOBER 9th - SOUTH AUSTIN TRAILER PARK AND EATERY~~~

Our team started out with 3 kids who were empowered to have their voices heard and raise money in memory of their mother, who lost her fight to breast cancer. Since then we have added other members who share in our lost and those who have lost their own mothers. Our goal is to help raise money and awareness so that other families do not have to go through the pain of losing a loved one to breast cancer. 

We hope you will join our team. If you do not think you can make it to the race, we are asking that people donate their $30 entry fee instead of entering the race. The $30 gift will be much appreciated by the Komen Foundation and will actually go farther than the race dues--as that amount mainly goes to funding the race.
