Join with other like-minded men and women to create a space for the community to come together to honor, remember and celebrate those who’ve been impacted by breast cancer. Help our participants and teams raise critical funding for breast cancer research and healthcare right here in the greater Austin area. The 2018 Race for the Cure will be on September 30th! DINE OUT VOLUNTEER
What can YOU accomplish in 6 weeks? Susan G. Komen Austin is looking for a highly motivated self-starter with a knack for communication. Our Fundraising and Events volunteer will have the opportunity to work with our world-changing development team to produce a successful Dine Out for the Cure event in March. We are looking for someone who can provide 15-20 hours a week, preferably with hours between 9:00am-10:30am and/or 2:00pm-4:00pm for 6 weeks. This position will be a great resume builder as you will get lots of hands-on experience with fundraising, project management, relationship building, and event planning- all while working towards a meaningful cause! BOWL FOR THE CURE VOLUNTEER
Susan G. Komen Austin is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to GET THE BALL ROLLING on our Bowl for the Cure fundraiser! You will have the opportunity to work alongside our world-changing development team to promote one of Komen's year-round fundraisers, Bowl for the Cure. This would be great resume building experience as you will be involved in project management, relationship building, fundraising and marketing. We are looking for someone over the age of 18 who can provide a minimum of 20 hours a month for a minimum of one month. Schools for the Cure Volunteer
Susan G. Komen Austin is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to get involved in our Schools for the Cure program! This resume-building opportunity offers lots of hands-on experience in project management, relationship building, fundraising and marketing. You will get to work alongside our world-changing development team while making an impact on the community you live in, all while enhancing your marketable skills. We are looking for someone over the age of 18 who can provide a minimum of 20 hours a month for a minimum of one month.
